rooftop terrace with mountain views, free parking arrangements, spacious studios with kitchenettes
Street noise is a serious nuisance, especially from nearby bars!!! Bathrooms lack cleanliness, with lingering unpleasant odors noted. Kitchen supplies were insufficient, making self-catering rather challenging. Consider updating shower layouts for better safety!!!

The rooftop terrace was the highlight, creating a
Wonderful atmosphere for relaxation after a day of exploring. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, making me feel at home. the street noise could be bothersome at night, so I recommend a room away from the street.

The terrace offers a great chance for fresh air, and the studio provides ample natural light, making it a decent space during the day.
Room on street level leads to a lack of privacy and an ever-present stream of noise from the bar nearby. Without AC, the heat can be a challenge, particularly in warmer weather. Breakfast choices feel limited and lack variety, and kitchen equipment is inadequate for those who prefer cooking their meals.

The location of Aspa Studios stands out, making it easy to explore Funchal on foot. My superior studio offered ample space and natural light, with a nice terrace perfect for relaxation. Breakfast options were generous too, including local products. Staff members were super helpful, especially Luisa, who went out of her way to ensure our comfort. Free private parking was a big plus as well. the kitchen was missing some essentials like a cutting board and there was a lingering smell in the bathroom. The absence of air conditioning made warmer afternoons uncomfortable, although the ceiling fan helped at night. The shower could use some updates, as it felt a bit worn out. a charming place but with some areas needing attention.

Jol in Funchal! 🇿🇦🌴
Man, the hosts were proper chommies, super friendly and helped us out when we needed extra fans cause it got hot. They even sorted us a lovely brekkie early on our last day, sharp-sharp! Plus, the soundproof windows were top-notch, kept the street noise at bay when we needed it.
The parking situation was a bit of a mission, real tight space in the garage, but at least it was safe and secure.

Just a prime choice for a weekend respite in Funchal with very good value for money. The staff were accommodating and went out of their way to assist with any queries we had. Try to request a room away from the busy street to minimize noise.
